Office Coordinator

We are working with a large International logistics company looking for career minded individuals to join their export group. Successful candidates should be eager to learn and wanting to be part a growing industry where you can learn from the ground up.

Hours are Tues.-Sat. 8a-5p

Day to Day responsibilities:

Working within their system to process shipments through final stages of the export process.  This will entail:

• matching up warehouse doc receipts to confirm dimensions, pieces and weight 
• Making sure that files are rated correctly 
• Following all the customer specific standard operating procedures.  An example of a different SOP would be a customer may want additional info on their airway bills or having other statements and processes they prefer, EDI requirements or not)correctly as per the customer needs.   
• Print out necessary documents for export 
• Additional tasks would be collating and filing away folders, scanning internal documents and making sure documented correctly.  Check on previous shipments and notifying clients of any delays 
• Other office tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Computer Literate

• Flexible to work overtime
